Dr Leila Matar

Leila studied medicine at the University of Sydney and completed her GP training in Wollongong. After obtaining her GP fellowship, she happily joined Engadine Medical Practice in 2014. Leila enjoys all facets of general practice, and values the strong relationships that form through caring for patients and their families across the lifespan. She has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics, antenatal shared care, mental health and chronic disease prevention. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, reading and cooking.

Dr Adrian D’Mello

Adrian has lived and practiced in the Shire since 2004. He served as an examiner for the FRACGP clinical examinations for over a decade and has been a supervisor for GPs in training. With a previous background in anatomy lecturing, he has developed a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, injury management and rehabilitation. Dr D’Mello has broad clinical experience and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, including children, adults and the elderly.
Excellence in the Provision of Training: Training Doctors
Engadine Medical Practice is also an approved training provider for the highest quality graduates who are mentored by our doctors and supervised by Dr Mark Dixon – currently we have Dr Karli Horan and Dr Tess Walsh-Rossi with us this term.
In addition to assisting Doctors, our nurses are able to assist with care plans, baby clinic weighs, bloods and a range of other services.
